Step Back In Time...Part I
A project has been developing over this past week. One that will take me to the beloved historic districts across the great state of Texas.
Step Back in Time...Part II - Fredericksburg
Quiet daybreak bathed in soft sunlight. The steadied rhythm of a loving couple out on their morning jog. Coffee houses preparing the town with its brewed delights. One could get lost in the simplicity of the atmosphere, the slowed pace of the mood and the rich character of the people of the town.
Each year the Fort Hood MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) and the family of volunteers take the time to pay homage to those who marched to the drums, cried "Havoc!" and were America's Dogs of War. They honor those who left with their shield and returned upon it. Flags forward into battle, now folded and upon a mantle.
My Dear Son,
You never lose the anxiety. You never mature beyond the unprepared. By the grace of God I am now the father of four sons.
