My trip to Granbury was one of personal frustration. I wasn't able to get to the town in time before all shops were set to close for the evening. So I was relegated to wandering the town square (this Historic District is comprised as a simple square) in the hopes of capturing as much of the spirit of the town as I could. The roads were in the midst of repair as detours and road closure signs stood posted throughout. This however, made for quieter streets I could walk through and view the square from varied angles.
The Texas sun was in the midst of its slow descent into a luminous fade that bathed the town in soft blue and pink hues. So I went about to capture Granbury and the welcoming arms of her heart.

I had to call it a night as there was very little activity going on this particular evening. So I made it back to my hotel room in anticipation for an early morning of gorgeous light and wonderful people.
But the morning's impending storm had other plans for Texas.
So I had to find my ride and prepare to evade the approaching rains...
