There is a quiet beauty, a silent grandeur to the American small town. A preservation of history, of a long forged character and deep memory of Yesterday. It is where one can visit and feel at home. Drive through on fast highways and hear it whispering for you to turn around and see.
I love the town of Wadena, Minnesota. It has become a second home to me over the course of the decade I have been married to my Love. With its constant hum of trains and their comings and goings. Its old buildings with more stories to tell than there are hours in a month. The school that has educated the generations with teachers who taught the parents of the parents.
All the lowliness of a tiny town affords the venue of such glorious sunrises and majestic sunsets.
