On the Road
I have driven these roads more times than I can count. Ten years provide wide doors of opportunity to travel long roads and be lulled into the traveler's bane of familiarity. At first glance, one that stretches nine years, the Prairie Lands seemed dreary and dull. Miles and miles of grasses, crops, highways and byways all leading to the perpetual, "Are. We. There. Yet?".
But glory to God (Soli Deo Gloria) that He has given me a love for the photograph, the picturesque, for the document. The entire adventure through the viewfinder of our car and the brief stops along the way aid in giving new voice to the simple grandeur of the American Midwest.
